Privacy notice

Last updated 11 September 2026

WebHost99 processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect when we register a domain or provide hosting, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

For domain registration we typically need a registrant’s full name, company name (if any), physical and postal address, email address, and mobile number. We may also store the domain name being registered.

Why we collect it

Registry and registrar rules require accurate registrant details. We use this information only to register and administer the domain, to contact you about the service, and to meet legal or contractual duties. We do not sell personal information.

Who can access it

Staff access registrant records through an authenticated admin panel. Public search engines are instructed not to index that area of the site.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to registry retention rules and other lawful grounds. Contact us at hello@webhost99.co.za.
